Ahmet Lökçe, is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) of the International Balkan University (IBU), he holds a position in the International Economics Department. His academic pursuits are characterized by a multidisciplinary approach, primarily focusing on political economy, welfare economics, innovation, and the study of Balkan economies. His expertise and contributions to the field are recognized through his role on the editorial board of the Journal of Balkan Studiesand as a co-editor of the editorial book series named Balkan Economies Series. Since 2009, he has played a pivotal role in the establishment and management of various non-governmental organizations dedicated to education, culture, and humanitarian projects, serving as a founding president, manager, and consultant.
